About
National Geographic Society: As part of the National Geographic's mission of conservation and exploration of our planet, NatGeo Television and Channels International programs are now translated into more than 35 languages and are seen in over 250 million homes in over 160 countries. Thousands of our television programs are being translated by our international broadcasters and partners in Europe, Asia and Latin America. NatGeo's Translation Department oversees and checks these translations for accuracy by hiring professional freelance translators & reviewers, around the USA and various countries overseas. We are interested in obtaining resumes of Western, Eastern European and Asian translators who have experience in mass media translations - radio, television, film, dubbings, subtitling, etc. for possible work. Please post your rates and full references if you write us. National Geographic operates from its headquarters in Washington, D.C. and over 30 regional offices worldwide, including Los Angeles, London, Rome, Hong Kong, Sydney, Mexico City, São Paulo and Buenos Aires.
